WINDHAM PUBLIC SAFETY FACILITY
WINDHAM, MAINE


Great Falls Construction was the design builder on the renovation and addition to Windhams Public Safety Facility. This facility includes garage bay complete with a vehicle wash system, detachable exhaust ventilation, heated floors, and offices. This upgrade to the Windham Public Safety Building will allow the City’s Fire Department, Police Department, and Dispatch Operations to operate from the same building.

SACO PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY
SACO, MAINE


Great Falls Construction was the design builder on the new Public Works Facility for the City of Saco. This pre-engineered metal building is constructed with MetalSpan insulated wall panels for highly efficient building performance and minimal maintenance. This facility includes the maintenance garage complete with a vehicle wash system, crane and vehicle lifts, bulk oil distribution system, compressed air systems, and radiant heat. The site includes a fuel island and dry storage building. Parking is provided for the public work and transportation offices.

Great Falls worked closely with the City to get them the best product possible within their budget. We were able to upgrade many aspects of the facility without hindering budget or causing any project delays. In fact, this project was completed a couple months ahead of schedule allowing for the Owner to occupy the facility sooner than planned. This new garage will allow the City to improve their operations and overall maintenance of their vehicles and equipment for years to come.

WINDHAM SHARED VEHICLE MAINTENANCE FACILITY
WINDHAM, MAINE


The Town of Windham’s New Shared Vehicle Maintenance Facility is a 26,596 square foot building featuring the town’s offices for Public Works, RSU14 Fleet Services and Building & Grounds. The facility also includes vehicle maintenance bays are for Public Works, Life Safety, RSU14 and Parks and Recreation. Additional features are as follows: fuel island and parking for buses and public works vehicles, vehicle wash, gantry crane and vehicle lifts and bulk oil distribution, compressed air and exhaust systems

PORTLAND INTERNATIONAL JETPORT UPGRADES
PORTLAND, MAIN


The Portland International Jetport additions and upgrades included approximately 15,000 square feet of renovation to the busy airport. Work included complete demolition and renovation of six bathrooms, revised entrance floor plan with enlarged waiting area and new ramp, installation of two new elevators and escalators, new stairs, exit portal and over 10,000 square feet of new flooring.

All of this work was completed in the fully occupied and functional airport terminal with no shut down time. Our team carefully coordinated the work with the design team, Jetport Operations, Jetport Security, TSA and active passengers.

INTERNATIONAL MARINE TERMINAL MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS BUILDING

The State of Maine Department of Transportation International Marine Terminal Maintenance and Operations facility is a 9,935 square foot building located in the busy port area of Portland, Maine. The facility includes a vehicle maintenance garage, office and meeting spaces, restrooms and locker rooms and overall support space for the daily operations of the International Marine Terminal locally and throughout the North Atlantic.

SOUTH PORTLAND MUNICIPAL SERVICES FACILITY
SOUTH PORTLAND, MAINE


The City of South Portland’s public services facility is a 81,786 square foot new facility that houses the City’s offices for public works, busing, parks and recreation as well as the vehicle maintenance bays, a fuel island and enclosed parking, a fully automated vehicle wash and gantry crane, laminated arch salt shed for sand and salt stock storage, a greenhouse and a RUBB storage building.
