BUDDE COLE CONDOMINIUM
PORTLAND, MAINE
Great Falls worked with Port City Architecture and the owners of the Budde Cole condominium in Portland, Maine. The Budde Cole condo is situated in a prime location overlooking Monument Square and the Portland Public Library. Great Falls converted the sprawling loft into a two bedroom living space complete with historic architectural wood details. This high end residential renovation features clean lines with an open concept design. The completed condo project provides amazing views of Portland and ample natural light throughout.
THE COSTELLO RESIDENCE
SCARBOROUGH, MAINE
Situated in Scarborough, Maine with direct beach access, this modern-style homestead was constructed by Great Falls and features many unique amenities including a finished carpenter’s workshop and exterior beach shower. Our construction team also installed oak built-in millwork and wood flooring throughout this elaborate beachfront home. Other home features include an elevator and heated two-bay garage complete with built in cabinetry. Sub-Zero refrigerators and other top of the line appliances were installed to round out the fully finished interiors. Highlights of the exterior grounds work include beautiful stone landscaping, an efficient irrigation system and extensive plantings.
SHERIDAN STREET
PORTLAND, MAINE
Acting as construction manager, Great Falls collaborated with design and engineering teams on this multi-unit residential structure situated in the Munjoy Hill neighborhood of Portland, Maine. Steel and wood were both utilized for the building due to the site’s incredibly steep slope. The project consists of six units including one artist loft, five residences and enclosed street level parking.
The modern structure also includes an elevator, wood floors, tiled bathrooms, millwork details and other high end finishes. Sustainability elements of the multi-unit residence include photovoltaics, low VOC finishes, heat pump systems and high efficiency gas fired water heaters.
SILVER RESIDENCE
WINDHAM, MAINE
Situated on the waterfront of Little Sebago Lake, Maine, this new vacation residence was constructed by Great Falls. The home’s amenities include a custom radius stairwell, pine flooring throughout, full modern kitchen, elevator and master bath complete with Jacuzzi tub. A maid’s room and two guest suites complete the main house with guest cabins and a beach-house bathroom located on the lake edge. The interior climate is controlled throughout the residence with a three-unit heat pump system. A three-bay garage and lakefront access make the property complete.
From preconstruction to project completion, Great Falls worked closely with the design and engineering teams to create this unique lakeside vacation residence.
