WINDHAM SHARED VEHICLE MAINTENANCE FACILITY
PORTLAND INTERNATIONAL JETPORT UPGRADES
The Town of Windham’s New Shared Vehicle Maintenance Facility is a 26,596 square foot building featuring the town’s offices for Public Works, RSU14 Fleet Services and Building & Grounds. The facility also includes vehicle maintenance bays are for Public Works, Life Safety, RSU14 and Parks and Recreation. Additional features are as follows: fuel island and parking for buses and public works vehicles, vehicle wash, gantry crane and vehicle lifts and bulk oil distribution, compressed air and exhaust systems
This pre-engineered building by Mesco is constructed with MetalSpan insulated wall panels for a high efficient building performance and minimal maintenance.
The Portland International Jetport additions and upgrades included approximately 15,000 square feet of renovation to the busy airport. Work included complete demolition and renovation of six bathrooms, revised entrance floor plan with enlarged waiting area and new ramp, installation of two new elevators and escalators, new stairs, exit portal and over 10,000 square feet of new flooring.
All of this work was completed in the fully occupied and functional airport terminal with no shut down time. Our team carefully coordinated the work with the design team, Jetport Operations, Jetport Security, TSA and active passengers.
MAINE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
INTERNATIONAL MARINE TERMINAL MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS BUILDING
SOUTH PORTLAND MUNICIPAL SERVICES FACILITY
SOUTH PORTLAND, MAINE
The State of Maine Department of Transportation International Marine Terminal Maintenance and Operations facility is a 9,935 square foot building located in the busy port area of Portland, Maine. The facility includes a vehicle maintenance garage, office and meeting spaces, restrooms and locker rooms and overall support space for the daily operations of the International Marine Terminal locally and throughout the North Atlantic.
The City of South Portland’s public services facility is a 81,786 square foot new facility that houses the City’s offices for public works, busing, parks and recreation as well as the vehicle maintenance bays, a fuel island and enclosed parking, a fully automated vehicle wash and gantry crane, laminated arch salt shed for sand and salt stock storage, a greenhouse and a RUBB storage building.
The new pre-engineered buildings by Mesco are constructed with Metal Span high end Architectural Insulated Metal Wall Panels for a clean architectural look with superior building performance and minimal maintenance.
WESTBROOK COMBINED USE FACILITY
As the Design Builder, Great Falls worked closely with design and engineering teams to create the City of Westbrook’s Combined Public Services Facility. The 33,550 square foot facility includes multiple office buildings, a training center, maintenance bays, wash bay, salt shed, fueling station and ample parking areas for school buses, maintenance equipment and various municipal vehicles.
The buildings are constructed with pre-engineered metal buildings by Mesco. Interior features include (2) five ton cranes over the maintenance bays, oil distribution system, a full wash bay with car and under carriage wash and a fueling station with multi departmental card access.
